Juice Cleanse

So now that i’m back from Tokyo (i’ll have a blog and podcast about that up soon). I’ve decided that it’s HIGH TIME to start some type of diet or at least eat a little healthier. My walking around Tokyo for three days straight kind of pin pointed the need. I have a lot of goals and dreams and one of them requires me to lose some weight. I’m not hoping to be super fit (although that would be amazing) but just in better shape so that I am healthier.

SO i’m trying to continue the momentum that Tokyo has given me and i’m trying to stay active daily. No more 90% potato! On top of being healthier as far as exercise goes I’m also planning on doing a cleanse. I think internal health is just as if not more important overall.

The cleanse i’m doing is a variation of those I’ve seen online which includes:

Lemon Juice
Paprika
Tumeric
Apple Cider Vinegar
Ginger
Cinnamon
Water

They all have their “benefits”; such as tumeric for anti-inflammation, apple cider for gut health, etc. As i’m not a doctor nor a nutritional planner you’ll have to research each benefit on your own and make your own decisions. This is just the recipe that i’m following. Today is the first day that i’m drinking this so we shall see how long it takes to have results (if any). I can tell you that this will be accompanied by a more thoughtful diet.

I’m at a point in my life where I refuse to deny myself the joy of food. Especially living in a place where food is so amazing. BUT i can also choose not to binge on junks.

In any case, lets see what a juice cleanse and more physical activity does for me! I’ll keep you all updated on the status (if any!).
