Heater is Heating

So it’s been about two years since we last used our larger heater because the exhausted vent got disconnected and I never got around to reconnecting it. But with our dad coming and him being relatively cold most of the time, it was time to fix the problem.

I had some apprehension about it working as it’s’ been dormant for so long but after a deep deep clean and inspection I turned it on in anticipation. It’s been running now for about 5 hours and luckily so far no issues have arose.

We currently have it on the lowest setting, which is what we keep it on through the winter just to ensure the house and room’s connected are kept at a relatively “warm” state. As long as it’s not under the freezing category we are happy.

This heater coupled with another heater we have in the other room, should be enough to keep our dad nice and toasty through the winter or at least for his stay.

We’re currently working on renovating the puppies room so once that’s done we are getting another heater to keep them warm but that one will be on extremely low as the puppies don’t need too much. It’s more or less for those days that the temperature drops below 0.

But today was good news, as now it looks like we don’t have to replace our heater, or at least not this one.
