Exploration Hokkaido Continues

Well with the “Snow Time” being done it has really opened larger opportunities for us to explore Hokkaido and further then we were comfortable then before, due to the snow. In the last month we have visited multiple parks, attractions, cities and all of it has been an amazing adventure. Hokkaido is huge and, honestly we may never visit every single city but were definitely going to try.

SO far my favorite visit has been Takino Flower Field, it’s a massive park area dedicated to florals, biking, hiking and more. It was closed or at least we think it was closed during the winter (maybe we are definitely wrong). But getting there we were greeted by a incredible sight of Tulips.

We walked around, took photos for the gram and ate some ice cream.

I really admire how beautiful Japan is. Although they have populated large areas of land, they make a lot of effort in keeping some ares pristine and true to its history and nature.

Another trip we went on was a walk around Noshi Park. A small family park in Sapporo, we walked around for a while and ended our trip by the side of the river. Taking in the sun, talking stories, it was honestly an amazing short period of time.

I am so grateful to be here and to be able to share these experiences with my brother.

Our parents are coming in 10 days and we’re excited. We plan on taking them all over Hokkaido as this is our fathers first time here. Then later in the trip we are taking a road trip to Saitama to visit our friends and check our old home.

We have decided to take the ferry as our mother wants to experience it. So my brother has volunteered to drive the 24+ hours. We will be stopping in Aomori, Yamagata and then finally reaching Saitama.

The original reason for the trip was to inspect our old home and watch its demolition but the government there has decided to push it back to 2024. But since we had planned most of the “trip” we decided to stick with it and go.

As our goal is to explore Japan, what better way to serve that by taking a family roadtrip!

In any case that has been life so far. Nothing huge, just us appreciating this world and all it has to offer.

SO until the next one!

byee!
