Another Pawsitive Day

The rain finally broke today and the puppies and the humans were happy to be able to enjoy the outside with limited muddy paws. But unfortunately for the puppies it was also BATH day. Some of them don’t care about baths, some love them and there are two that hate them. Needless to say it makes bath days interesting. I think in the future i’m going to build a bath station where I can put the puppies inside the “sink” to wash them as my back cannot handle the constant bending of 9 dogs.

But I’ll also have to come up with a plan to handle them during the winter time as it’s colder and for obvious reasons I can’t be giving them a bath outside.

In November, we’re also starting to renovate the puppies room, like I said in the last blog. Currently the plan is to put concrete down in each space so that clean up if there are accidents are easy.

I’m hoping that the weather stays sunny a few days each week as I want the puppies to have as much time outside as they can before the snow period starts. While they DO go outside during the Winter, it’s not as long due to the cold and I don’t want their paws to become damaged or hurt.

Overall though today was a good day and I am so happy to have been able to spend it with the puppies in the sun.

Tomorrows plan is to continue cleaning the house, have lunch with a new friend then spend the rest of the day with the puppies…
