We had Puppies

At the end of November our mama dog Sandee, gave us ten beautiful puppies. Like their mom and dad they are also “Goldadors” but each look different in their own ways and of course some of fluffier then others.
OF the ten, my brother and I will be keeping eight. Yes, you read that correct, EIGHT.
It was not really by choice and is a longer story then I currently feel like sharing but it is what it is. I’ll go into in detail in a later post.
Since November we have been caring for the puppies, helping them learn socialization, manners, etc. And i’ll admit it, it hasn’t been easy but some of the work has started to show some promise and pay off.
Like any dog owner will tell you, having a routine is KEY to success. BUT routines are not easy especially when you have work, life and everything else in between to deal with.
Our daily routine is, wake up, eat breakfast, POTTY. Then back inside for a reward. Lunch time, potty and reward. Dinner, potty and reward. Between these scheduled times we do allow for outside play time and run around the house like a tornado time.
So far life with them has been stressful but not without its very happy moments. Picking them up, hugging them and just getting pure love back is something NOTHING can replicate and because of this, I wouldn’t change it for the world.
In any case this was just a short update on our dog life. More will come.
