Struggles of Social Media and Expansion
So for those of you who have been following our journey through Japan I’m sure you’ve but one and two together to realize that we are trying to expand our social media platform presence. And honestly it’s been really hard.
Being in Japan does give us an edge in regards to the “wonders” that it can provide but the market is so saturated with visitors and locals alike. So the question becomes, where do we go from here?
All the research points to “niche” markets but what can ours be? I do know that our dogs draw a HUGE market and I haven’t really seen any major puppers in Japan or at least they haven’t popped up on my feed. So is this the route we take for our company?
When it comes to the algorithms of each platform it’s different but also really bases your content off of what you post and then who engages. So if we were to shift more geared towards our dogs? Would that help?
Could we be the “dog family of Japan?”. Questions keep mounting.
We love our dogs so it would honestly make sense but where does one go with this type of market. Tourism was “easy” you find really nice places and film and share.
Random dog stuff is relatively easy as well because its essentially the same.
But how do we make a BRAND of the puppers? The questions still fill my mind. So i’m not sure.
I know I want to make the best life i can for the dogs, it’s been my goal since they came into the world. But am I okay, “using” them to do that? I watched a video the other day, a satire type of video that showed the owner telling the dog to make videos to pay rent hahaha, is this what it has come to?
It’s time that all 9 get hustling? Perhaps so. So lets formulate a plan on how to really implement this idea.
Day in the life? <<<< how do we do this? Record the puppies playing? That’s overdone? Do i create scenarios? Like the puppies waking up and getting ready for work? Maybe a series of the puppies being caught slacking off? bleh i wish the ideas would be easy.
Lets say for example i do a series of “catching the puppies slacking” obviously it’ll be staged but do i need a script? probably.
Should we follow trends? probably.
Now the big ask, will the puppies comply LOL! the real challenge has been accepted.
This is my brain storm. Maybe it’ll come to be something more.
