Today is Rain

Today and tomorrow Hokkaido is expected to be RAINY!
While the rain honestly helps me sleep as I believe is subconsciously reminds me of home, it causes so many issues in regards to the house. The first being that the puppies and us, bring dirty mud water into the ginkan. While its an easy fix, it’s something that bothers me personally as I end up having to mop after each toilet break.

Our yard is also just pure mud, we haven’t had any luck growing grass in the puppies area so it becomes the largest mud pit during this time of year. Needless to say I wish there were LESS rainy days during this time of year. Not to mention the rain is COLD! Today’s temperature is 49ºF and with the wind it makes it colder.

This is just me complaining but I need to figure out something to remedy the mud issues so that I can live with peace of mind haha.
