Life of Spring
Now that Winter is officially over and Spring is full in effect, the bugs are out and the heat of summer is approaching quickly. Most recently we have had to start showering the puppies with water in the morning and a little after noon to keep them cool. While it:s fun, I feel bad for them being that this is their only real source of coolness. I’ve been looking for AC’s as an option for avoiding the heat but honestly I don:t like the idea of paying extra monthly in bills. So right now i’m going for the water and fan option.
We’ve also been having to clean up a lot of dust that has accumulated over the winter time and now have started to get rid of the items i marked as rubbish last year. I know we’re behind but it is what it is.
Our father is coming to visit us this week and my brother is headed to Tokyo to pick him up on Wednesday. Our dad will be here with us for about 3 months. The longest he has stayed in Japan since we moved here. I’m both excited and dreading it all at the same time. BUT our dad is easy to get along with and is very helpful and supportive so it should be fine.
We also got our white car “eggy“ back on the road. It’s been nice to have two cars again, honestly.
This is also going to be the FIRST time i’m alone with all the dogs and puppies for about a week. So please all of you wish me luck as i’m not sure how i’ll survive!
On the Sandee front, she is doing okay but you can see that her time with us is slowly coming to an end. It hurts to see her like this but its part of dog ownership. Right now our focus is to show her love, treat her as best as we can, and make as much memories with her while we still have her. She has been a trooper coming with us on errands, car rides and just hanging out at the house. While it has been difficult this time with her has been something that i am so grateful for.
I’ve also started cleaning my room again. I haven’t slept in it since the start of winter and its about time that I started again. Mostly due to the fact that the other side of the house is very easy to heat. So no more excuses.
