Chance Meetings

So far in life we have been blessed to meet many interesting, well rounded people in this world. From businessmen and women, elderly folks, people with big dreams and those with little. A lot of these meetings have always left me with a smile and a new appreciation for people. Don’t get me wrong, there are people in this world who I would just not want to associate with again but for the most part those people are rare, at least now days.

Today I had another “chance meeting” with a new friend in the same field as my brother and I. With an optimistic attitude, level head and big dreams he shared his view of the world and his life with me. It was a very nice situation to be in. In the short time we spent together you could tell that this person had a lot to offer the world, you could essentially see it in his eyes. And I know without doubt that he will become someone the world comes to know.

Life is like that.

A lot of people in this world have amazing dreams, some more then others. But its often rare to find those who are actually pursuing what they desire. Life is difficult, scary and hard to navigate when you restrict yourself. And yet it’s amplifies the fear factor when you try to break out of the norm and pursue true happiness.

Our new friend is someone who is pursuing his dreams. He has started his journey to breaking the norm and has started it well. I honestly can’t wait to see where life takes him and the opportunity his passion provides him.

I think people need to learn how to challenge themselves a little more. AND they definitely need to learn how to take a little more risks. It may not provide you with a completely flawless and comfortable life, but it’ll open you to the real possibilities out there. And if you don’t take the chance to try, then you’ll never see where you can end.

I’m honestly glad my brother and I took the risks that we have. We have definitely struggled and perhaps more then some but in the end it has made us who we are today and has given us more opportunities to grow, to understand who we are and of course experience the world outside the bubble.

So to our new friend, good luck. Best wishes. And please remember us when you’re in the stratosphere!
